With an internationally recognised advisory board of eminent scientists and business leaders, BQI is committed to collaborating with the world’s brightest minds and thought leaders across various scientific disciplines, to think differently about the Big Questions of Science.





The Big Questions Institute was established to provide catalytic philanthropic funding to foundational science research in Australia. Acting as an intermediary between researchers and donors, BQI identifies, targets and matches funds between leading Big Question researchers and major philanthropic donors. BQI also supports young Australian researchers and women in science with annual Fellowship grants.
