The 17th of August 2024 marked a pivotal evening at the Sydney Opera House, where a fascinating event titled “Your Brain on AI: From Organoids to Consciousness” was co-presented by the Sydney Opera House, the Big Questions Institute, and the University of Sydney. As part of National Science Week, this event attracted an audience eager to explore the profound intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and human cognition.

The discussions delved deep into a future where human brains could be augmented through cutting-edge technologies, blurring the lines between organic and digital realms.
